I have extensive experience and knowledge with the methods, components and systems that make up a house and the correct procedures to perform quality inspections.  I have completed over 5000 total hours of training and research and have been inspecting homes for over four years.  As a result of investigation into actual home inspection reports, data, national standards of practice, and communications with other inspectors from across the country, I have developed an inspection process and copyrighted reporting method that is complete, concise and accurate. 

I have completed specialized training and extensive testing for performing Home Inspections. I have experience with building, repairing and the inspection and testing of the many different systems in homes.  I complete 24 hours of training annually to maintain my certification status with NACHI.  I have attended courses presented by Carson and Dunlop Consulting Engineers on several subjects including "Recognizing Structural Deficiencies".  Additionally, I participate in educational meetings and online communications with inspectors from all over the US frequently.

I have a previous 27 year technical background that includes highly technical work, technical troubleshooting and repairs to a wide variety of equipment including several, 15 million dollar, full flight simulators utilized for pilot training by major airlines.  I have also been the builder and electrician on one new house and other construction projects.

A good inspection has everything to do with the amount of effort and time invested in the inspection process.  Bruce King performs his home inspections with a passion for doing the very best work for his client.  I am an independent contractor and provide unbiased inspection reports.  I actually inspect the crawlspace and can find more problems in attic areas since I have the height advantage (6ft 5") to look over ducts.
